Pine Fines/Bark
This mulch tends to last longer than most organic mulches whether it be the fine grade or nugget form. The natural red and dark brown color also lasts longer than most of your other mulches. Can be pricey up front but on average the longevity of pine mulch is 3-5 years rather than typically 1 year for most other mulches. However, pine bark mulch is very lightweight and can be easily disrupted from weather and foot traffic.
